Pre Workout

Coffee Crack

I only like 1 pre workout drink, it’s light, it’s small, it’s delicious, and it give your wings!! You can use regular or decaf cold brew coffee.  I recommend Hug in a Mug because quality coffee actually has nutritional benefits, and Hug in a Mug is the top 1% of all beans produced worldwide. I also use Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, it will support you in energy output, and muscle support (plus make your skin beautiful). Organic Pastures Raw Dairy is nutrient dense and contains the fat needed for to burn fat!!

Recipe type: Pre Workout Drink
Cuisine: Coffee
Serves: ½ drink
Ingredients
  • 1 cup cold brew from Hug In a Mug
  • ½ cup raw cream
  • 2 pumps carmel syrup
  • 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
Instructions
  1. Simple Modifications: If you don't use Hug in a Mug Coffee, you need to alter the recipe to ½ cup cold brew and ½ water. Hug in a Mug is incredibly smooth, so any other coffee will need to be diluted so you don't gag 😉 If you don't have access to raw dairy, I do not recommend pasteurized dairy. You can sub the raw cream for coconut cream.
  2. These modifications should still be yummy, but please remember this alterations are not recommended, but simply an option.
  3. Put each ingredient in a blender and mix on low for 5-10 seconds. Pour over Cubed iced in cup and drink with straw.
  4. *Modifications: If you would like it sweet'er, increase maple syrup, or add dates. Dates make this recipe delicious, but they have a lot of calories so depending on what you are looking to get out of the smoothie it may be perfect to add, or it may be too much. Increasing the almond butter is also delicious 🙂

Recipe type: Post Workout Smoothie
Cuisine: Chocolate
Serves: 1 drink
Ingredients
  • 6 oz water
  • 2 oz raw cream
  • 3 raw cream cubes
  • 1 cold brew cube
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 Medjool dates
  • 2 scoops Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
Instructions
  1. Put all ingredients in blender and blend until fully mixed. Pour into glass and enjoy or place a straw in blender jar and save on dishes.
  2. If you don't have access to raw dairy, I do not recommend pasteurized dairy. You can modify the recipe by using 4 cups of coconut milk instead of the 2 oz cream, and replace the raw cream cubes by freezing your banana, make sure you dice it prior to freezing so it blends easily.

Mocha Madness

Love coffee, and sweets?  Well I do, and this treat is perfect if you’re wanting a coffee fix, but also want nutrient density that will satisfy as a meal on the go. This smoothie is not as dense as the chocoholic, yet gives you the energy to keep going all day.  It is loaded with quality fats, and is nutrient rich.

Do you make your own caramel syrup or is there a brand you recommend?

Making it would definitely be healthier, but I typically buy Monin Organic Carmel Syrup from Amazon.
